FIRST AID

Minor first aid is the responsibility of each team. This includes blister management, foot care, minor scratches etc.

Entrants with existing medical conditions must bring ample supplies of their medications.

Race organisers will have advanced first aid equipment and supplies to treat major injuries.

MEDICAL CHECK

All entrants must consult their doctor to fill out the pre-event medical checklist. The medical checklist must be returned to the race organisers by 27/2/09.

Race organisers reserve the right to exclude any individual from entering the event due to health concerns.

The organisers welcome questions from potential participants about whether a particular existing health issue is likely to cause problems on this event. There is no reason that some well-managed existing medical conditions would prevent a participant from completing this trip.
